Nursery
Zoom Early Years meeting ended rather abruptly, sorry about that! The joys of Zoom! We do hope it was helpful.
Please see presentation below, for links and further information.
Week 4
We have been reading the story of The Three Little Pigs both inside and outside this week. The children loved building houses out of loose parts – a lot of team work going on! They enjoyed wearing the costumes to act out the story themselves too! Please see photos in the Gallery.
We also had our first toast café this week. The children practised spreading their own butter and toppings and cutting their toast in half. They also tried some courgette jam – the courgette was grown in our allotment. It was delicious!
Friday was Language day. The children started to learn to say hello and goodbye in Romanian and Polish. Please see Class Gallery for photos.
Weeks 2 & 3
In Robins this week we have been settling in still, getting use to playing and sharing toys with each other.
Painting and glueing has been fun this week! Robins have been painting their self-portraits, looking in the mirror and talking about the colour of their hair and eyes etc and looking at each other to see if they are the same. They then added some materials, wool for their hair and buttons for noses and mouths.
September 2025 Term 1
A warm welcome to all our new Robins and families and to our older Robins too. We hope you all had a lovely summer and are ready for a new term ahead!
This week we have been busy exploring both inside and outside and getting to know our new friends, teachers and routines.
This term we will be reading The Three Little Pigs. Our focus will be building houses and talking about what materials to use. We will be talking about families too! If possible, it would be nice if your child could send in a family photo for our family tree, so the children can have a look at and talk about their families with their friends.
Please check Robins Gallery as we will upload new photos weekly of what has been happening in our class.
Please read the newsletter as it informs you about what you need for your child. Any questions, please ask a member of the Robins team. Thank you!
